With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Neil Leroy Speerbrecker of Newberry, Michigan, born in Williamston, Michigan, who passed away on November 25, 2022 at the age of 86. He was predeceased by : his parents, Dormin "Clare" Speerbrecker and Susie E. Speerbrecker (Miller); his parents-in-law, William and Charlotte Drake; his siblings-in-law, Jim, Jay, Phillip, Edward, Robert and Betty; and his aunts, Ruby Owen, Ruth Dake and Phyllis Carpenter.
He is survived by : his wife Barbara Lupien; his children, Neil Speerbrecker (Angela) of Central Lake, Nevin Speerbrecker (Diane) of Lansing and Nora Mejia (Oscar) of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Lilly, Merrick, Bremen, Angela, Oscar II, Keith and Lacie; his siblings-in-law, Carolyn Cook (Bernie), Linda Walter (Jim), Sue Ann Arnott, Patricia Smith (Don), Lora Barber, Jerry Lupien (Leslie), Jesse Richardson (Nancy), Sharon Painter (Mike), Alex, Damaris Richardson, Frances and Arlene Richardson; and his close friends, Will Fouts (Kimberly) and Robert Potoczak (Peg). He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
