He was predeceased by: his father Charles Ash; his grandparents, Charles, June Jerrick and Hazel Ash; and his aunt Carol Jerrick.

He is survived by: his mother Barbara Schneider (Otto); and his nephews, Brandon and Alex Ash of Thompson, Michigan. He is also survived by his family, friends.

He was proud of his work and continued driving throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and until the time of his passing.
