He is survived by: his wife Joyce Smutek of Newberry; his children, Valerie Hanson (Jeff) of Newberry, John Smutek (Mary) of Newberry, Suzanne Gibbs (Cass) of Essexville, Deanna Brow (Donald) of Newberry, Phil Smutek (Colleen) of Newberry and Doug Smutek (Becky) of Newberry; and his brother Richard Tank (Ann) of Belmont. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 16, great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
