He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle "Shelly" Rushford (Bill) of Curtis and Melissa "Missy" Olivier (Gary "Stuey") of Marquette; his grandchildren, Jamie Rushford (Dustin Auge), Brett Rushford (Kassie), Marissa Rushford, Blake McAlpine (Bill) and Kraig Bodi (Alanah Saldana); his great grandchildren, Camden Auge, Cooper Auge, Hadley Auge, Kaiden Rushford, Carson Kennedy, Aubrey McAlpine and Mallory McAlpine; his siblings, Joseph Villemure (Becky) of Petoskey and Cathy Harrington (Tom) of Indianapolis, Indiana; and his siblings-in-law, Tim Quinlan (Donna) of Newberry, Barbara Bennett (Lou) of Newberry and Alice Quinlan of Newberry. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to the annual kids tackle party in care of the Luce County Community That Cares coalition or to the Newberry High School girls basketball program in his loving memory.
