He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank "Bunk" Kirby and Dolores "Dee" Kirby; and his wife Sundae Garrod. He is survived by: his children, Colleen Smutek (Phil) of Newberry and R. J. Garrod (Tabatha) of Kinross; his grandson Russ; his grandfathers, Travis Bruce, Mackenzie Webb and Jeni Garrod (Zach Sylvester); his great grandchildren, Ryder Sylvester and Akari Webb; his brother Leroy Garrod (Donna) of Lake Tahoe, Nevada; and his nephew Alvin Dalgleish (Cindy) of McMillan.
