It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Carter (Newport, Michigan), who passed away on June 7, 2019, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Odus Bolling and Ocie Bolling (Kincer); and her brothers, Glenn, Wendall, Donald, Bobby, James and Richard Bolling.

She is survived by: her husband Richard T. Carter (Dick) of Newport; her sons, Richard Anthony (Nicole) of LaSalle, Eric Todd (Amy) of Flat Rock and Tyson (Teri) of Holt; her sisters, Alma Lou Carter of Moneta, VA. and Margaret Ann Garrett of Livonia; and her grandchildren, Haley, Austin, Harrison, Mitchell, Dean, Avery, Hynes and Mia.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Helping Hands Food Pantry in care of Community Lutheran Church.
