David Joseph left this world on July 29, 2025 at the age of 72, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. As David Joseph departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though David Joseph may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy David Joseph leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard G. Gill and Theresa M. "Dolly" Gill (Masta); and his siblings, Gene Gill, Lee Gill and Marguerite Deneau.
He is survived by: his wife Jan L. Estrada; his children, Shawna M. Mann (Al) of Monroe, David Joseph Gill II (Jennifer) of Rockwood and Joseph Adam Gill (Nicole Branham) of Newport; and his brothers, Michael Hartranft (Karen) of New Mexico and Bernard Gill (Frankie) of Newport. He is also survived by grandchildren, three treasured great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Bacarella Funeral Home, Inc. (1201 S Telegraph Rd, Monroe, MI 48161). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
