He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Kush and Lorine Kush (Liedel); his sister Denise Janus; his brother-in-law Daniel Janus; and his nieces, Kimberly Janus and Kristine Rhodes.

He is survived by: his wife Gayle Kush of Newport; his children, Ryan Kush of Monroe and Nichole Robinson (Paul) of Woodhaven; his siblings, Thomas C. Kush (Joy) of Monroe and Cheryl Rhodes (Lawrence) of New Boston; his grandchildren, Joseph Boomer, Matteson Boomer, Violet Kush, Jacob Kush, Austin Robinson and Ashley Campbell (Darren); and his great grandchild Sophia Campbell.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Heartland Hospice of Monroe.
