He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton G. Walker and Gertrude E Walker (Hibberd); his wife Margaret M. Walker (Green); his brother LeRoy Walker; and his son David N. Walker.
He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Ann Burgess (Terry) of Niles, John Cameron Walker of Niles, Steven Grant Walker of Niles, Wayne Edward Walker of Grand Rapids, Mary Sullivan McMullan (Todd) of Conway and Beverly Collier Kennedy of Marshall, Missouri.; and his grandchildren, Blake, Tate Burgess, Keith, Kara Kathleen Bouwkamp, Hannah, Holly Walker, Megan Kennedy, Natalie Hull, Melodie Britt and Mollie Lee.
Memorial contributions may be made in Herb's memory to Fernwood Botanical Gardens.
