He was predeceased by: his father Lowell Rice. He is survived by: his wife Julaine Rice of Niles; his daughters, Susan Rice of Walkerton, Indiana and Deanna Zukowski (Eric) of New Carlyle, Indiana; his stepchildren, Matthew McCubbins (Teresa) of South Bend and Michele McCubbins Perez of Buchanan; his granddaughter Olivia Rice; his stepgrandsons, Robin and Riley Perez; his siblings, Rebecca Keefe of Massachusetts, Martha Gregor (Dennis) of Arizona and Dan Rice (Connie) of Washington; and his sisters-in-law, Irma Rice of South Bend and Cindy Rice of Mishawaka. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made in Dayne's memory to the Wounded Warrior Project.
