She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Akers and Ann Akers (Nocerino); her former husband David Johnson; and her brother Gary Akers. She is survived by: her children, Jamie Lee Barrier (Johnson) and Jake Johnson; her husband Joe Courville; her granddaughter Briar; and her brother Bill Akers (Cheryl). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
