With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Alice Ball Nelson of Niles, Michigan, who passed away on April 16, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Cecil Ball and Audrey Ball. She is survived by : her husband Wayne Nelson; her children, Tom, Terri Grimes and Tracy Nelson Davoust; her grandchildren, Stephanie Barber (Josh), Cecilia Sanchez (Robbie), Melissa Smith (Brian), Casaundra Hamrick (Josh), Stephan Davoust and Josh Davoust; and her great grandchildren, Gage Nelson-Spanninger, Kenna Smith, Bralen Smith, Sophia Smith, Gabryle Barber, Gideon Barber, Zoe Barber, Zahra Barber, Danica Hamrick, Delilah Hamrick and Christopher Sanchez.
