She was predeceased by: her parents, William E. Morgenthau and Mary E. Morgenthau; and her sisters, Maxine Guzak, Kathryn Blasko and Wilma "Billy" Miswick.
She is survived by: her children, Shari Wilcox (Dan), Shelly Los (Dallas), Steve Srmek (Karen) and Scott Srmek (Karen); her grandchildren, Austin Los, Mason Los (Sierra), Shane Los (Gabi), AJ Srmek (Bre), Alli Ulrickson (Alex), Lauren Srmek, Nick Srmek and Mariah Srmek (Kyle); her great grandchildren, Luka, Winnie, Ren, Miller, Lennie, Jasper and Luna; her niece Helen K. Sands (Dave); and her nephew Bill H. Miswick (Mary).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations made through this webpage or through the funeral home (414 E. Front Street, Buchanan, MI 49107) be given to Janet's caregiver of the past two years, Debbie Spencer, as a gift of gratitude.
