We are sad to announce that on September 5, 2025, Janyce Eileen Gano of Niles, Michigan, born in Saint Joseph, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Janyce farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Janyce is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband R. Dean Gano; and her brothers, Donavon Smith and Jerry Smith. She is survived by: her children, Mary Hayden of South Bend, Indiana, Jon Gano (Connie) of Missouri and Brian Gano (Lisa) of Auburn; and her sister Barb Brooks of Niles. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren.
The family prefers contributions in memory of Janyce be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
