With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan Cassel in Niles, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 28, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Aaron Anderson and Addie Anderson (Noe); and her siblings, Buelah and Aaron. She is survived by: her spouse Carlis Cassel; her daughters, Sharon Sievers (Dan) and Jill Kovatch (Scott); her grandchildren, Max (Abby), Jake, Jenna, Evan (Mary Claire), Allison, Michele (John), Teresa and James; her great grandchildren, Evelyn, Gemma, Isaac, Elizabeth, Eleanor and George; and her brother Jim.
