It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Grice of Niles, Michigan, who passed away on October 20, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, John Edward Grice and Shirley Hall; his daughter Taleena Smaltz; his grandson John J. Grice; his brother Dennis Grice; and also, Sherry Carter and Patricia Essex.
He is survived by : his wife Ellen Kovacs; his children, Tony Miller of Florida, Jeanie Haines (Matt Lynch) of Edwardsburg and Cristal McLaughlin (Robert II) of Osceola, Indiana; his grandchildren, Becky Harris, Kelly Harris, Derrick Smaltz, Ashley Foster (Jonathan), Andrew Grice (Gabriella), Zachary Hicks (Madison), Andrew McLaughlin and Alayna McLaughlin; and his brother Michael Grice (Julee) of Cassopolis, Michigan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family of John Grice will host a Celebration of his Life to share memories and food at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at the Amvets Post #1978, 1117 East Bertrand Road in Niles, where contributions to Post 1978 in memory of John may be left.
