He is survived by: his children, Ember Brant and Jesswin Brant; his grandchildren, KayLynn Brant, Kelsea Brant and Stella Stafford; his siblings, Cynthia Griesmaier Brant (Larry), Vicky Lovejoy and Bud Brant (Vickie); and his niece Tammy Pressler.

“I loved Jon. Always quick with a quip and full of joy. He always talked about the Air Zoo and how excited he was to see that. The bands he played in were always entertaining and he would make personal shout outs. A joy to work with as well, with his upbeat attitude, made the time not suck as much.
