It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leonard Whittaker (Niles, Michigan), who passed away on April 14, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Whittaker and Laverne Whittaker (Mainard); and his brothers, Bill and Gary Whittaker. He is survived by: his sibling Lenny; his wife Sherry Whittaker of Niles; his sons, Rev. Jeffrey Whittaker (Doreen) of Niles and Mark Whittaker of Niles; and his sisters, Sue Wilks (Gary) of Missouri and Nancy Hildebrand of Washington. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

Due to the current, unprecedented guidelines limiting public gatherings because of the COVID-19 virus, there will be a private family gathering at Brown Funeral Home and graveside services, with military honors at Silverbrook Cemetery with his son, Rev. Jeff Whittaker, officiating.
