She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund Schadler and Frieda Schadler (Albrecht); her husband John Armitage; and her siblings, John Schadler and Helen Peters.

She is survived by: her children, Herb Armitage (Jeanne), Keith Armitage (Carole) and Lynette Hamby (Bruce); and her brother Ed Schadler. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many other extended family members and friends.
