It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Maxine Jean Benjamin of Niles, Michigan, who passed away on September 29, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Ervin Heiermann and Ada Mae Heiermann (Sadler); her son Guy Earl; and her siblings, Joe, Ervin Jr., John, James, Robert, Harold, Mary Long, Virginia Frucci and Laura Spilger.

She is survived by : her husband Ned Benjamin; her daughter Beth Benjamin; her daughter-in-law Rebecca "Becky" Benjamin of Niles; her grandchildren, Bryan Benjamin (Sandy) of Summit, NJ and Chelsey Martinez (Brent) of Dimondale, MI; her great grandchildren, Ainsley Tallulah Martinez, Henrik Guy Benjamin, Piper Eloise Martinez and Everett Charles Benjamin; and her sisters-in-law, Lottie Heiermann of Traverse City, MI and Joan Benjamin of Niles, MI. She is also survived by 100 nieces and nephews and many special friends.
