He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Dunifin and Inza Dunifin (Weaver); his children, Robert Dunifin, Jr., Jody Dunifin and Beverly Lewis; and his brothers, Harold and Donald Dunifin.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Gowland; his children, Connie Dunifin of South Bend, Patty Sukich of Niles, Sharon Rayburn (Mark) of Niles, Terry Dunifin of Niles, Ronald Dunifin of Niles, Char Marquardt of Niles and Richard Dunifin of Niles; and his grandchildren, Robert Dunifin III, Carrie, Hope, Dionne, Malibu, Joseph, Christopher, Jennifer Michael, Travis, Kali, Carl, Mandy and Abigail. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
