He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis Staples (Ingle); his parents, Albert Staples and Rhoda Staples (Scott); and his siblings, Helen Staples, Warren Staples, Doreen Staples-Clifford and Shirley Staples Gregory.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jillian Hamer (John) and Dianne Staples.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Andrews University Seminary Chapel (310 W Mars St, Berrien Springs, MI 49103).
