She was predeceased by: her father Barden Borst; her husband Gene Baker Sr.; her sister Debby Borst; her great grandchild Tayler Mavis Baker; her son-in-law Dwight Thomas; her siblings-in-law, Karen Baker, Cathy Curtis, Dean Curtis and Glenn Baker Sr.; and her best dog-friend Hannah Mae.
She is survived by: her children, Gene Baker Jr. (Sandy) of Buchanan, Jeff Baker of Niles, Terri Thomas (Baker) of Buchanan and Tami Seymour (Mike) of Niles; her grandchildren, Amy Wolfenbarger (Ray), Ryan Seymour, Patrick Seymour (Alyssa), David Baker (Kristin), Michael Baker (Kristen), Chad Baker (Brooke), Taya Hardacre (Jim), Nick Baker (Tiffany), Melissa Baker, Bryan Thomas (Sara) and Laura Thomas (Adam); and her siblings, Barry Borst of Angola, Indiana, Becky Nieman of Angola, Indiana, John Borst (Marge) of Lincoln, Illinois and Bob Borst (Linda) of Springfield, Illinois.
