James Bryant Obituary
We announce the death of James Bryant of North Adams, Michigan, who passed away on October 20, 2026, at the age of 90. James will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernie E. Bryant and Wilhelmina Bryant (Weber); his wife Georgiann Mae Watters; his children, Rebecca Bryant and Timothy Bryant; and his sisters, Fran and Rose Marie.
He is survived by: his daughter Cindee Dresen (Scott); his grandchildren, Aedan Dresen and Brian Hayward-Geut (Roos); his great grandchild Maeve; and his siblings, Jack Kruch (Roberta), Ed Bryant (Pam), Denny Hoaglin (Sue), Tom Bryant, Bernie Bryant Jr. (Martha) and Lee. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Brown-Van Hemert Funeral Home (122 N Steer St, Addison, MI 49220). A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Hillcrest Memorial Park (1425 N Elm Ave, Jackson, MI 49202). A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at the Coffee Club.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital would be deeply appreciated.
