He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellsworth Brown and Gladys Brown (Zimmerman); his wife Brenda Brown; and his brothers, Robert Brown (late Shirley), Jack Brown (late Edwina), Lamar Brown (late Vera), Bernard Brown (late Mary) and Lloyd Brown (late Hazel).

He is survived by: his children, Blake Brown (Yvonne) and Melissa Semear (Mark); his grandchildren, Brianna Brown, Britney Brown, Brooklyn Brown, Ra'kell Brown, Deon Brown, Collin Brown (Madelyn), Camryn Brown (Ashley), Kenton Brown and Sydney Semear; and his great grandchildren, Averie Brown, Karmyn Brown and Lavonne. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
