He is survived by: his wife Doris Braidwood; his children, Fred Strich (Sue), Dani Strich (late Ed's), Caroline Ferguson (Brian) and Bub Strich (Mel); and his grandchildren, Matt Ferguson (Rob), Brianna Chase (Eric), Drew Strich (Amy), Taylor Strich (Lauren), Lauren Bruise (Steve), Whitney Lemmer (Jordan), Emily Downey (Austin), Eric, Austin Hepker, Teal Vernot (Josh), Garrett Washington, Hannah, Stewart, Madison Tepoorten, Ellie, Will, John, Margaret, Bernie, Stephen (Gus), Maria, Emmett, Avalee, Adelyn, Archer, Miles, May, Andrea, Grady, Max, Ike, Kinsley, Emerson, Grayson, Arya, Sloan and Blair. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Blackburn Chapel Martin Funeral Home (4216 Huron St, North Branch, MI 48461). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the North Branch Lions Club.
