He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Fick and Alice Fick (Clingsmith); and his siblings, Jean Dubey, Joe Fick, Joann Verran, Diane Watson and Danny Fick.

He is survived by: his daughters, Nicole Powell, Carrie Hunt (James) and Lyndsey Kaake (Matt); his grandchildren, Mariah, Makayla, Josiah, Jeremiah, Caleb, Marissa, Ethan, Elijah, Isabelle, GraceAnn, Benson, Jenipher, Maci, Kayleigh, Brayden and Isaiah; and his siblings, Sandy Fick and Sue Carlock. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Blackburn Chapel Martin Funeral Home (4216 Huron St, North Branch, MI 48461). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
