He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Hodgkinson and Veronica Hodgkinson (Milbocker); his former wife Maxine; his great grandchild Abram Czaczkowski; and his siblings, Fred Hodgkinson and Rosemary Hodgkinson.
He is survived by: his wife Anne; and his children, Susan Davies (Ken), James Hodgkinson, Sandra Czaczkowski (Dan), Sharon Howland (Chris), Tom Hodgkinson (Jennifer), Michael Smith (Teresa), Robert Smith (Beverley) and Teresa Asch (Ryan Rapson). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 21st 2026 at 4:30 PM at the North Branch American Legion Post 457 (4075 Huron St, North Branch, MI 48461).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Aspire Long Term Care or United Hospice Service of Aspire Rural Health System.
