He was predeceased by: his father Lawrence Bayer; and his sister Susan Bayer. He is survived by: his mother Mary Alice Newkirk (Honton); his wife Linda Rae Najdowski; his son Robert Alan Bayer Jr.; and his brother Pat Bayer.
