He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward A. Apcyznski and Clara Apcyznski (Rembacki); and his siblings, Delphine Apczynski and Edward E. Apczynski. He is survived by : his wife Marie Delphine Gratowski (Del); his children, Denise Bond (Gregory) of Northport, Jeffrey (Carol) of Beverly Hills and Thomas E. (Christine Douglas) of Livonia; his brother Frederick Apczynski (Mary) of Elk Rapids; his grandchildren, Jason, Breanne, Travis Bond, Jeffrey, Christopher Apczynski, Lauren and Thomas S. Apczynski; and his sister-in-law Gertie Gratowski (Thomas). He is also survived by spouses/partners, six great-grandchildren.
