She was predeceased by: her parents, Walfrid Tomola and Martha Tomola (Piirto). She is survived by: her husband James L. Nowka; her children, Erich Nowka (Melinda Dimitroff), Sara Hardig (Joseph), Dirk Nowka (Kristen) and Julie Willerer (Chris); her sister Susan Dougherty (James); and her grandchildren, Sophie, Anna, Jenny, Luke, Abby, Chloe, Lily, Avery, Jake and Charlotte.
