He is survived by: his wife Nicole Newhouse; his daughter Meagan Nystrom; and his parents, Vernon Newhouse and Maxine Newhouse.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (217 N Wing St, Northville, MI 48167). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Great Lakes Border Collie Rescue, an organization meaningful to Daniel and his family.
