He was predeceased by: his parents, Gabriel Jabo and Labeba Jabo (Hazo); and his wife Rita E. Hanna (Minassian). He is survived by: his children, Ussama Hanna (Sandra) of New Orleans, LA, Khaled Hanna (Joleen Firek) of Plymouth, MI, David Hanna, Alexandra Hamsath (Akil) and Tariq Hanna (Daisy) of Ferndale, MI; his sisters, Margo Paulus of West Bloomfield, MI and Widad Paulus of West Bloomfield, MI; and his girlfriend Linda Scussel of Northville, MI.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 6th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sullivan and Son Funeral Directors-Royal Oak (705 W Eleven Mile Rd, Royal Oak, MI 48067). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 7th 2026 at 10:30 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Sullivan & Son Funeral Directors (705 W 11 Mile Rd, Royal Oak, MI 48067). Only a pandemic could slow him down. At age 85, Edward was forced into (early) retirement due to the COVID pandemic.
