We announce the death of Frederick R. Duwel of Northville, Michigan, who passed away on June 1, 2026, at the age of 84. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Duwel and Mary Duwel (Reardon); his wife Patricia Duwel (Jones); and his siblings, Theresa Thiemann, Elaine Rolfes, Patty Nobis, Jerry Duwel and Jane Grossheim.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Albrecht (Charles), Jeff Duwel and Ann Giese (Matthew); his grandchildren, Alison Albrecht, Andrew Albrecht, Leah Giese, Graham Giese and Aaron Giese; and his sister Margaret Bollin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
