He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Stuart Hetu and Barbara Hetu; his wife Paulette McDonald; his children, Scott Hetu (Ashley Pepple) of Iowa City and Shaun Hetu (Breann DeGrendel) of Dallas, Texas.; his siblings, Kathleen Gaynor (Steve) and James'Jim'Hetu; his stepson Patrick McDonald (Aleshia); and his stepgrandchildren, Talon, Scarlett and Piper.
