In loving memory of James C. Gatrell (Northville, Michigan), who departed this world on December 7, 2025 at the age of 86. James leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Clay Gatrell and Goldie Mayhew Spencer; his wife Linda Elizabeth Gatrell; his son Danny; and his siblings, Ed, Tom, Robin and Duke.
He is survived by: his sons, Tony Gatrell (Nancy), Jon Gatrell (Emily) and Jay Gatrell (Kristina); his grandchildren, Brody, Brooks (Madison), Blaise, Kevren, Dijouri, Blake, Elena, Forrest, Mary (Cooper) and Ezra; and his siblings, Dick, Bob, Brenda, Alan and David.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Casterline Funeral Home (122 W Dunlap St, Northville, MI 48167). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
