It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James B. Tomlinson of Northville, Michigan, who passed away on March 11, 2026, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though James may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Bowan Tomlinson, Everett Tomlinson, Mary King and Virginia Tomlinson. He is survived by: his wife Joyce G. Tomlinson; his children, D'Andrea Byers (Jeffrey) and Brooks Tomlinson (Michele); and his grandchildren, Brianna Byers, Rebecca Byers, Cory Byers, Alyssa Tomlinson, Cayden Tomlinson and Noah Tomlinson.
