He was predeceased by: his parents, Stelios Vlahakis and Irene Vlahakis; his wife Magda; and his sister Marika Byrakis (Costas). He is survived by: his children, Irene Kaplantzes (Elefterios) and Steve Vlahakis (Pamela); and his siblings, George Vlahakis (Connie) and Irene Karakis (Dimitri).
