He is survived by: his wife Klara Saran; his children, Neeta (Joshua), Sameer, Anuradha (Don), Anant (Heather), Ravindra (Erica), Vichitra, Bharat (Ali) and Anjali; his stepchildren, Linda (Hassan), Ingrid (late Xavier), Ziggy and David; his grandchildren, Lakshmi, Atreyu, Kirin, Aria, Jaiden, Kanaan, Tarik, Devin, Niam, Avi and Taj; his stepgrandchildren, Omar, Anisa, Dane, Vann, Kade, Paige and Joseph; his siblings, Dayal (Kusum), Kripal and Shashi (Pavan); his sister-in-law Sadhna; and his nieces and nephews, Priti, Nirat, Kirti (Sushma), Vinita, Nitu (Dayal), Manjula, Vhiba, Mukta (Kripal), Suchint, Saloni (Vishal) and Yashi (Shashi).
