Romej of Northville, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on October 12, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Cassie Romej and Bernard Romej; his siblings, Bernard, Angeline Sykes, Virginia Wojay and Barbara Furmanski (Joseph); and his granddaughter Marissa Kelly.

He is survived by : his wife Irene; his children, Carol Romej (Joy Johnsen), Deborah Romej (Scott Freeman), Daniel Romej, Michael Romej, Susan Dwyer (David) and Karen Souders (Robin); and his grandchildren, Katherine Souders, Kevin Souders (Kendall), Matthew Romej (Allison), Lauren Mazzella (Matthew), Rich Freeman (Erin) and Kirsten Freeman.
