The memory of Robert L. Townsend Jr. of Northville, Michigan, who passed away on June 22, 2025 at the age of 88, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. Townsend and Eva Townsend (Tomasic); and his former wives, Joan K. Wylie and Joan Townsend. He is survived by: his wife Julie; his daughters, Sarah Townsend (Jesus Costantino) and Molly Townsend; his stepchildren, Len Mazzola (Cat), Elisha Zuccato (Marc), Brian Mazzola (Eileen) and Patricia Mazzola; and his brother Donald Townsend (Judi). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Casterline Funeral Home (122 W Dunlap St, Northville, MI 48167). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
