She was predeceased by: her mother Millicent Warren. She is survived by: her husband Carl Gilbert; her children, Paul Gilbert (Laurie), John Gilbert (Lucy), Judi Shedd (Dave) and Steven Gilbert (Megan); her grandchildren, Krystal Cohen (Andrew), Joe Gilbert (Taylor), Jessica Shavalier (Jesse), Melissa Goldberg, Matthew Gilbert, Elizabeth Shedd and Adler Gilbert; her great grandchildren, Briar, Hayden, Gwen, Piper, Oaklynn and Riley; and her siblings, James McEachen (Bonita) and Patty Farough (John). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services (6291 Harvey Street, Norton Shores, MI 49444). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
