He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Raymond and Shirley D. Baker (Bergman); his stepfather John Kison; and his sister Shellie Shady. He is survived by: his wife Gayle Baker; his children, Jacob Baker and Sarah Hartline (Derek); his grandchildren, Willow and Benson Hartline; his siblings, Mark Baker (Lori), Steve Baker (Barb), Lynn Micketti (Jerry), Paul Kison (Lonnie) and David Kison; and his uncle Ned Carter.
