He was predeceased by: his parents, Adrean VanAndel and Delia VanAndel (Berghuis); his wife Lois VanAndel; his sister Pauline VanderNaalt; and his son-in-law John Lumpp.

He is survived by: his children, Thomas VanAndel (Katherine) and Mary Lumpp; his grandchildren, Thomas VanAndel II (Megan), Laura Vogel (Will), Matthew VanAndel, Andrea Buntley, John Lumpp II (Kristin) and Jeff Lumpp (Tanja); his great grandchildren, Austin, Westin, Eleanor, Miles, Alexis, Brendan, Mackenzie, Tyler, Brooke, Johnny, Ryan, Luna and Tilly; and his sister-in-law MaryAnn Lager.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Forest Park Covenant Church or Maranatha Bible and Missionary Conference.
