We bid farewell to Nancy E. Butterfield of Norton Shores, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 6, 2026 at the age of 87. Nancy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry DeBard and Josephine DeBard (Bott); her sisters, Janet Bouckaert (Vic) and Harriet Aker; and her nephews, Kirk Bouckaert, Danny Aker, Dan Scheibner and Aaron DeBard.
She is survived by: her children, John Butterfield (Shelly) and Carrie Beukelman (Dave); her grandchildren, John Butterfield, Ron Butterfield, Sunny Lachaire, McKenna Alden (Erich), Curtis Munson, William Sherrard, Taylor Wendzel (Austin) and Jessica Green (Josh); and her brother James DeBard (Sherry). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mona Shores Education Foundation.
