He is survived by: his mother Ilah Lynema (Ploeg); his wife Terrie Groendal; his children, Chad Lynema (Michelle) and Shannon Leitheim (Eric); his grandsons, Austin Lynema (Lexie), Trenton Lynema (Makayla) and Luke Leitheim; his great grandchild Caden Lynema; and his siblings, Linda VanderLaan (Ken), Diane Young, David Lynema (Brenda), Michelle Stanley (Bill), Susan Beebe (Bruce) and Audrey Boot (Keith). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shields of Hope, a ministry whose mission of serving others reflected Bob's own generous spirit.
