He was predeceased by: his parents, Hersel Temple and Elaine Temple (Kurbursky); and his in-laws, Arthur and Margaret Sikkenga. He is survived by: his wife Patty Temple; his children, Rhonda Temple, Brandy Carey (Andy), Carol Jones-Riley, Kelly Jones and Benjamin Temple (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Caitlynn (Andrew), Destiny (Kyle), Haileigh (Austin), Maisie (Michael), Cooper (Ally), Caden, Jersee, Maggie (Dom), Braylon, Tate, Xander, Quinnlyn and Harper; his great grandchildren, Charleigh and Easton; and his sisters, Lois Hennings (Marvin) and Marilyn Case (Thomas). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services (6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions in Bob's honor may be directed to the Muskegon Rescue Mission or Harbor Hospice.
