He is survived by: his significant other Doreen; his children, Greg Bekius (Nancy) and Ronda Morningstar (Ross); his grandchildren, Erin Lattner (Jeff), Andrew Linard (Brittany), Nathan Linard (Danielle), Holly Dishnow (Mark), Tyler Bekius (Katie), Kelsey Tidswell (Trevor), Logan Morningstar (Jamie) and Luke Morningstar (Alison Hiner); his great grandchildren, Sienna, Braden, Brielle, Jack, Claire, Matthew, Maxwell, Graham, Whitley, Avery, Natalie, Benjamin, Lane, Wyatt, Cole, Mason and Olivia; and his sisters, Heide McCleery and Karen Bosch (Gordon). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services (6291 Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
