It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Royce D. VanderScheer (Norton Shores, Michigan), born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on June 11, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph VanderScheer and Sadie VanderScheer (Alberda); his wife Sheila C. VanderScheer; his granddaughter Megan VanderScheer; and his brother Gary VanderScheer.
He is survived by: his children, Ross VanderScheer, Jody Whitehead, Kurt VanderScheer (Jennifer McKean) and Jill Kanowith (Matthew); his grandchildren, Alex VanderScheer (Erin), AnnaBelle, EanJoseph VanderScheer, Benjamin and Jonah Kanowith; his great grandchildren, Laila Rouleau and Alistair VanderScheer; and his sister Elaine Borgman.
