He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Wright and Virginia Wright (Sherburn); his brother Terry Wright (Carol); and his nephew Kenneth Wright. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy R. "Dee" Johnson; his children, Susan Wright, Molly Wisdom (Randy), Paula Sullivan (Bob) and Christopher "Chip" Wright (Amy); his grandchildren, Victoria Wisdom, Erica Switzer (Joseph), Alaina Wisdom (Mitchell Scott), Brenna Beauchamp (Luke), Katelyn Sullivan, Nathan Sullivan, Brendan Sullivan, Erin Sullivan, Madelyn Gagnon (Matt), Olivia Wright and Kyle Wright; and his great grandchildren, Juliette, Emmett and Margot.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM and on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church - Marian Chapel (2929 Mc Cracken St, Norton Shores, MI 49441).
